Facebook Posts

I’m taking a Facebook fast this week (or longer?).  I don’t usually post much on FB.  I’m sort of disillusioned with it.  But now that I “can’t”, It seems like I’m always thinking of something that would make a good status update.  So, I’ll do a blog post instead.

- Ahhh, it’s wonderful to take my kids to the symphony and enjoy it with them! (Except it’s a little less than relaxing trying to keep the six-year-old quiet!)  But we heard Phantom of the Opera.  Wow!

- After living here for almost 8 years, Keith just put up a bird feeder by my kitchen window. ( I’m not complaining about Keith.  I never really cared about having one.)  This morning we have Red-polls and an Evening Grosbeak!

- Picking paint colours….  I dislike the pressure!   But I’m excited to watch it get done!!!  (I’m not painting, someone else is!!!)

-  Boys = boundless energy.

- Today: Tea Party with the homeschoolers.  It makes me giggle that we have  8 or 10 boys from ages 6-15 and we still have tea parties.  And they enjoy it!  :-)  They have no idea it’s a “girly” thing to do.  They like the fun with friends and all the good food.  :-D

-  Mmmm….  Hazelnut Creme coffee!

  1. i like this post and it made me laugh, because i was just thinking of doing the same thing. :)

we’re doing the Apologia “flying creatures” book, so we’ve got bird feeders and such things on our brains, too. our problem is that we have to find a place to put them where the dog doesn’t scare the birds. (grrrr.)

have fun at the tea party! :)

  2. Happy to read your FB updates here! We should switch houses and decorate each others! = )
